Heartpoet and I are making a lil donation to something close to our hearts this year however that did not stop the poet lol. He potted me up two big beautiful gardenias (called True Love) for our veranda as a surprise. There was also a Burt's Bees gift pack - Head to Toe Kit (He knew that I was keen to try Burt's products and remembered the actual kit I was keen to try first), a spectacular make up mirror from makeupnet - I mentioned last night in passing I had needed a hand mirror through the day but annoyingly could not find one. As if by magic on fb last night the most girly, blingy mirror popped up for sale called Fairytale Mirror. Heartpoet stated that since I am his princess this was the perfect mirror for me and before I could protest he had logged in via his iPad and purchased me one. Last but not least this morning he made me breaky in bed (98% fat free yoghurt topped with fresh whole blackberries then topped with fruit and nut natural muesli - served in a lovely glass with a long handled teaspoon and a hot cuppa tea) and presented me with two of those teeny tiny bottles of Indian perfume oil that I like (vanilla and musk) inside the perfect card with a poem he had penned especially for the occasion. I am feeling the love and appreciate and never take for granted that I am a lucky duck in the romance stakes.
I had a lovely card for Heartpoet and filled it with sentiments straight from my heart. I purchased him a blu-ray dvd series that has just been released that he had been wanting to watch on the abc but had missed. I am making him (us) a lovely romantic dinner tonight (by candlelight) - roasted honey mustard butterflied leg of lamb served with pumpkin, potato, sweet potato and capsicum roasted with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and herbs. Dessert will be a homemade lamington style sponge cake filled with homemade jam and fresh cream. After dinner a bottle of Brown Brothers Crouchen Riesling (budget in price not in taste) and a cuddle on the lounge watching MKR (My Kitchen Rules - TV Show) followed by an early night perhaps ;)
Pop back in tomorrow and I will type up the words to my Valentine's Day poem :)
