'The One'

Ello ello ello Heartpoet here dropping in to say a quick ello ha!

I wrote the poem 'Lover's Swoon' the week before I knew of Kimmie's existence. Lover's Swoon was written about 'The One' even though I had not met her yet. A wish of sorts. The minute I first laid eyes on Kimmie I knew that she was 'THE ONE'. It was quite surreal - from the way she would demurely glance my way to her painted toenails and pink skinned knees ;)


Lover's Swoon

Forest clearing drifting sun
droning insect thinking one
heart so winding heat and rain
thoughts of love you come again
misting showers pearls and jewels
eyes of passion steaming pools
shift of cotton barefoot glee
toenails painted pink-skinned knee
glance demure in filtered light
coloured rainbow banished night
fingers yearning hands adrift
enfolding arms with passion's shift
skin to skin with words unread
autumn leaves our yearning bed
powder puffs upon the breeze
urgent heat and love's sweet tease
lips with kisses moist and wet
writhing haste lest absence fret
bees abuzz mid-morning's gold
love liaising love's sweet fold
holding nuzzle cuddle's sigh
bodies touching thigh to thigh
mountain peaks and forest's trial
heat and sweat our lovers' smile
dozing snoozing wrapped as one
senses drowning golden sun
forest clearing lovers' den
love and hearts still love you then
afternoon arrived post noon
forest clearing - lovers' swoon
swooning love in forest clear
awhisperin' - I love you dear...
